I have been going to Northbrook off and on for the last 12 years and I've never seen this classification before.

 

3* Northbrook - Glenview - Mt. Prospect area all-suites hotel

"All Suite" in the zone heading for a listing seems to be a very recent addition.

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. A guess is that it may be the Hawthorn Suites Wheeling upgraded to 3* since it was last reported.

 

I'm very familiar with the area - are you looking for something in particular in terms of hotel or near a particular town?

We normally choose the 3.5* which is usually the Wyndham Glenview Suites.  We like them because there's a front room that closes off to the bedroom so that someone can watch TV while the other person rests.

 

I've never seen that 'newer' listing on Hotwire before so I figured I would check with you guys to see if you guys know what it might be.  Looks like that Hawthorn Suites is the old Candlewood.

 

I keep hoping the Embassy Suites would pop up but for now I'm going to probably wait about a week to book this.

I'm seeing a 3.5* in this zone w/Suite, Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Free Parking, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Pet Friendly.

 

My guess is that this may be a new amenity set for the Wyndham Glenview Suites.

We took the safe route and went with the 3.5* we knew vs. the cheaper questionable option.

 

Hope some people have more guts than I do to try out the new all-suite option.  I just know that the old Candlewood Suite had studio rooms as well as closed off bedrooms and wasn't willing to risk it.

Love Pita Inn.  Also near the hotel is great Burger place called BURGERFI.
