Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Las Vegas (Las Vegas Convention Center) Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino

I am going to Vegas the end of September and wanted to name my own price.. I did so at $50 a night a few days ago (for strip locations only) and was not successful. I'm pondering staying east or west of the strip as long as we arent to far away.

 

BTW I am traveling with my boyfriend.. we're just going for some R&R and sightseeing. We've both been to Vegas before. Any suggestions on what star rating just off the strip (but not freemont) may work for us? I was looking at Rumor, Palms, Hooters and Rio maybe? Not sure..

 

I'm willing to go up a few bucks as well.. Maybe $60 or $70 a night..

Please start by following-up your previous Priceline Chicago thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip.

I had a 4 star rating then a 3 star rating for both North/south strip on Priceline. I am not opposed to staying east or west of the strip as long as I'm not too far away from all the action.

$50 is not going to be enough for these dates for a 4* in North/South, but I'm seeing a 4* for $84 in Strip North on Hot.wire w/Resort, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf.

While $50 is not going to be enough, I think $65-75 may be. If not, there is the Hot.wire listing @$84 - while over budget, it is an option if that price is acceptable.

Do you think $50-$60 might work 3 star west/east of the strip?

I found a 3 star west of the strip with the following amenities

Free parking, free internet, casino, fitness center, pool, restaraunt, business center, and spa services. $58

85% recommended.. Any ideas on where this could be?

I can't get the same hotel to appear on my standard search for 2 adults. How many rooms/adults/children did you search for? Can you please run a new search and confirm that you still can see this hotel on your search.

...If this is what you see would my guess be Gold Coast Hotel and Casino.

Yeah that listing went away suddenly! I wonder how often the Hotwire hotel sales are updated.

I see a few that might be okay west of the strip..3 star $61 a night, casino fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, Internet.. Any idea what this could be? OR

$58 3 Star east of strip area resort, free parking, resort, pet friendly, suite, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, Internet access?

I don't see this property when replicating your search. I can only see the one I previous posted in the $60 range.

I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process.

So I ended up winning a 3.5 star convention center hotel! Just a couple blocks from the strip & on the monorail line! It was the Westgate Las Vegas. Total price was $116 for 3 nights! ($33 a night..
