Hotwire Standard Rates

I am not new to bidding but usually due to price/options I don't use Hotwire as much. I noticed recently that the standard rate search option seems to be gone/hidden for Hotwire Canada. Am I just having a moment or have they changed something to discourage figuring out hot rates?

 

To clarify all I can see are Hot Rates.

When you search with this HOTWIRE link, you should see a list of secret/discount rates. Above that are two tabs, "Secret Hot Rate Hotels" and "Standard Rate Hotels". Are you seeing those two options?

So I fgured it out. The standard rate tab only shows up when i switch the currency from CAD to USD. So for viewing in Canadian $ only the hot rates are available.

Thanks for letting us know as i'm sure we will be asked by somebody else who is experiencing the same/similar issue.

HOTWIRE is going thru a lot of changes on their website right now so it's possible that this is only a temporary glitch, but at least we now know the workaround. :)

I can see the standard rates, but they cannot be booked.  

The issue is the prices are actually $US, but it shows them in $CAD.  When you try book, it does not work.  It tells you price is higher.
