Wooshers Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 So cpl questions...Looking to identify this 3* in Orlando(Disney Maingate West) for 8/2/2015-8/8/2015. Amenities include - Free Internet, Free Parking, Pool for $32 a night with bed choose available? I was also looking to book this the other day and when I got to the fine terms it said that this charges a resort fee of $30 per room per night. Any idea if that is accurate? I assumed when they posted $30 that it was $5 each night equaling $30 total. Was that a misprint and/or did I read it incorrectly or is that actually the nightly fee. Also wondering about "request" 2 beds....How guaranteed is that? I assume if it was 100% they'd call it more than a request. We're going with 2 kids so I'm looking at Hotwire and when Priceline I'm looking specifically for the bed suggestion. Thanks
thereuare Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) Best guess for the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer above would be the Maingate Resort And Spa. The working for this listing is $30 per stay so it would be ~$5/day. Wooshers Posted June 16, 2015 Author Report Posted June 16, 2015 Thanks...it looks like the total with the $30 was added to our booking total. Does Price.line cover that resort fee or is the hotel supposed to collect it? Also....I wasn't crazy. It does say $30 a day.
yellowdog Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 No, it's not added to your total. But the total cost for the stay is shown before you pay. Look at the line that says "Total Priceline Charges". This is what you pay when you book the property. The resort fee is charged by property at checkout. Wooshers Posted June 16, 2015 Author Report Posted June 16, 2015 Thanks....I did the search and see that. It does look like they overcharged us for some reason, Idk if there is any recourse for them doing so but we're calling them now to see what happened.
