AaronJB Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 Welcome to Betterbidding. I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Please include accessible amenities, as well. Thank you for using the board's HOT.WIRE or PRICE.LINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Also, please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOT.WIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOT.WIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase. Thanks. ainerb Posted June 15, 2015 Author Report Posted June 15, 2015 FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower and when i convert it to dollars it works out as $149 and on the betterbidding helper tool it comes up as $91 dollars and when I click on it , it isn't available on that hotwire website!
thereuare Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 If a hotel is not appearing in the EASY VIEW of the BiddingHelper.com you can do the following to confirm the complete amenity set: Search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...click the offeron the next page click the BOOK NOW linkin the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesWith the above noted, the best guess for the $91/nite hotel with the amenity set above would be The Luxor. In the Strip North zone i'm seeing what appears to be Treasure Island for $81/nite, which i think is a better choice than the Luxor, would this be of any interest? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. ainerb Posted June 16, 2015 Author Report Posted June 16, 2015 thanks for that so when i checked that link i got the full amenties of the hotel i was first looking at for $149 Free parking Casino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Golf nearby Spa services Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of traveling-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking we were hoping this was the MGM as other hotels look good but were Irish and hoping to stay in MGM them dates for an irish fight. just trying to find a good deal with the hotel
thereuare Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 I'm not seeing any property offered for your dates at $149/nite (did you change the country and currency to US as most non-US countries will show the room rate after taxes/fess and we use before taxes/fees when posting on the board, so perhaps this accounts for the difference??) I assume the fight is just one nite... so is there a reason you need to stay at the same location as the fight for your complete trip? If you're looking to get a good deal why not stay nearby and then just walk (or a short taxi ride) to the MGM the nite of the fight? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
