If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? arexasaurus Posted June 14, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 14, 2015 When I go to book the hotel, under 'Room Type' it says 'free cancellation' and when I hover over that a bubble comes up that reads 'We understand that sometimes plans fall through. We do not charge a change or cancel fee. However, this property imposes the following penalty to its customers that we are required to pass on: Cancellations made after 7/8/15 are subject to a 1 night room and tax penalty. The property makes no refunds for no shows or early checkouts.' But below that in 'Booking Note' it reads: "ALL BOOKINGS ARE FINAL and cannot be cancelled, refunded, changed, exchanged, or transferred." Can anyone help me understand this? If I end up not liking the hotel I get will I be able to cancel? Thank you! Link to comment
thereuare Posted June 14, 2015 Report Share Posted June 14, 2015 The 'Free Cancellation' is something that HOTWIRE is trying out on a few hotels and you shouldn't have any problem canceling the hotel (one user has done so already and did the entire process online by clicking a cancellation button on their reservation). HOWEVER, i would still recommend making a screenshot of the booking page that shows the Free Cancellation button just in case you do run into any issues.
