I wonder if it's worth booking in advance and so the average prices for four-and five-star hotels for that month. The date would be 12 to 16 February. Thanks for your help

You can start to explore the options available if you're booking for Feb and are willing to accept a non-refundable hotel this far in advance. There's no way to know if rates will come down between now and your stay, but if you find a good deal versus what rates traditionally are, you can certainly lock it in. If you're looking for something on the Strip, $100 is not likely going to be enough for a 4.5* or 5* hotel... these are weekend dates (more expensive than mid-week) and include Valentine's Day which is usually a busy time of year for hotels throughout the country.
