Jeof0411 Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 I reserved a room at this hotel this past weekend... it was my first time booking through priceline. My bid was $22 and was accepted. Friday January 6 2006I think the total charges to my credit card ended up being like $32.09.As a side note, I needed a room at the last minute and was only going to be staying there for one night (like midnight-8am) so I didn't want to spend much. I was kind of worried that it was going to be a ghetto hotel like some of the Intown Suites ni Atlanta. Some of the reviews I read online were less than flattering. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the room... not sure if they have made some renovations or changes, but the room was VERY clean and nice- much better than many of the hotels I have paid $50+ per night for. One website said that if you needed sheets and linens or toilet paper you would have to ask the front desk for them, but my room was full stocked with towels, washcloths, toilet paper, some nice smelling soaps, etc. The kitchenette was nice and provided basics ... 4 plates, 2 bowls, 2 coffee cups, 2 glasses, 2 sets of silverware, ice in the freezer.. (even though I was dumb and didn't find the dishes until the next morning - they weren't above the sink where you would expect but in one of the side lower cabinets. Also, they had a customizable voice mail system where people can leave you messages and search for your room number by your last name. The grounds were kept very nice and it seemed safe... plus it is less than a mile or so outside the 285 perimeter.
