Mayan Posted June 4, 2015 Author Report Posted June 4, 2015 Hey,Sorry for that. I reported the win for the 17th-21st lat year (it was the omni), but I forgot to write regarding the 14th-17th. Ended up ordering an hotel directly via booking. I added my comment to the relevant post. I will appriciate your help with the hotel mentioned. Thanks!
thereuare Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 For your future regular rate hotel purchases it would be appreciated if you used our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com (which has the same deals as every other booking agency out there) Best guess/comments for each of the above: 1. Empire State Building - 4* - 156$- 80% recommended --> Carlton on Madison Avenue or St Giles The Court (i think the St Giles is the more likely of the two, but you should be prepared for either) 2. East Village - Lower East Side - 3.5* - 137$ - 100% recommended --> Holiday Inn Lower East Side 3. Madison Square Garden - Hell's Kitchen- 3* - 148$ - 85% recommended --> Holiday Inn Express New York - Manhattan West Side 4. Midtown East- 4*- 159$- 75% recommended --> not certain... Renaissance 57, Lexington New York, ONE UN, or Hilton Manhattan would be be likely candidates among the possibilities 5. Chelsea - 4*- 170$ - 100% recommended --> Wyndham Garden Hotel Manhattan Chelsea West Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Mayan Posted June 11, 2015 Author Report Posted June 11, 2015 Hey,Thank you for your answer. Before I will close the booking I wanted to ask the following:1. My dates changed to July 13th-19th - 3.5* in lower east side- you said it's the holiday inn lower east side- I think this hotel is ok beside the fact that the transportation is not best at this area. Is there a possibility its a different hotel or you almost sure this is what I'll get? Is this a safe area?2. Can you help finding out which hotel is the following: 4* lower east side- 149$- pet friendly, fitness center, restaurants, business center- 90% recommended. Is this the whyndam garden Chinatown?
AaronJB Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 The 4* would be a possible match for the Wyndham Garden Chinatown. Is the 3.5* in the zone showing with the same amenities for this new set of dates? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
Mayan Posted June 12, 2015 Author Report Posted June 12, 2015 Thank you for the prompt reply! Yes. Same amenities. Is it the holiday inn lower east side? Is there a possibility it is a different hotel? If yes- which hotel can it be? Is it a safe area? Another question- Times Square-4.5*- 187$ - full amenities: fitness, restaurants, internet access - 95% recommended. Which hotel is this?
thereuare Posted June 12, 2015 Report Posted June 12, 2015 Best guess for the 3.5* would remain the Holiday Inn Lower East Side... best guess for the 4.5* would be the Michelangelo Hotel. Both areas are safe, but as with any large city, you should always be aware of your surroundings.
