Hotwire Hotel: Help ID 3.5* (Downtown - Millennium Park - Grant Park)

Hello fellow travelers,

 

I looked in the hotel lists for Chicago Downtown - Millennium Park - Grant Park and tried to match the amenities showing up on the Hotwire page to a 3.5* hotel on the Hotwire page here on this website but couldn't find a hotel with matching amenities.

Here's the info:
 

We're booking for 2 rooms, 2 adults per room (4 people total), 6/4-6/7.  Hotwire lists the hotel for $138 a night and it's 3.5* in the Downtown-Millennium Park-Grant Park area.

 

Amenities:

 

Free Internet, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access

My guess for this one would be the Essex Inn 'hiding' some of the amenities it has been seen with this in the past, but if you are interested in this property, let us know as i think there is a better way to play it.

HOWEVER, what are your needs for this stay, as i'm seeing 4* hotels for less in the NMA-River North area which is a bit more central for the average tourist.

I'll also throw in and agree with thereuare that this may be the Essex with a slightly different amenity set.

 

Do you need to be South of the River? What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? I'd also recommend staying North of the River instead.
