I'll add to the above...

Do you need to or have reason to to be in the Upper West Side for this trip... as this is not typically the most convenient location for the average tourist (as it goes a bit far north)

What are your plans/needs in a hotel for this stay?

This options seems to me the best relation cost-offer (4 stars hotel until $220-night). 

 

My first option is Chelsea, but in HOTWIRE this hotel don't have reviews.

 

I've been in NYC just once in 2012. I'm going to US Open - Flushing Meadows and tourist points, so I can be flexible with areas in Manhattan.

September is not a slow period in NYC and a week in NYC is a fairly long stay to get a deal. If you see something appealing, I'd take it now. If you wait, you do risk the possibility that a different listing will replace it and/or prices will go up.

While nobody can say if rates will come down, or move higher, between now and your trip, there is another risk besides 'price risk'...

All of these hotels are very highly reviewed, so if you're happy with any of them and think they will work for your needs, the other risk in waiting is that the hotel you want disappears entirely and is no longer offered (or possibly replaced by a different hotel in the zone that you may not like as much).
