won Washington Hilton 4* hotel @ 1919 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, exactly where I wanted. Started bidding from $80 adding areas, stars and $ (added Georgetown, Downtown and Downtown White House added 3.5 and 3 stars), finally got lucky at $110+taxes=$136. And yes, I did use the PRICELINE link to do the reservation.
