Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

I'm not seeing a 2* in this zone for these dates. Are you still seeing this listing? If so, how many people are you searching for?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate)

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 2 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

Complimentary Breakfast

Hi-Speed Internet

Wheelchair Accessible

--> if this is what you're seeing, my guess for this one would be the Chelsea Savoy Hotel

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

I decided not to go with this hotel since its a little way off. I was looking for something which is walking distance to at least one of the tourist icons.

Thank you so much for identifying the hotel for me!

Thank you for keeping us updated on what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions. This property isn't that bad of a walk to Times Square. Ultimately, you're going to be doing a lot of walking and public transit to get around NYC. Is this hotel of interest otherwise?

If you've never been to NYC, there is something to do everywhere, but it is also very large, so there is not one location that is close to everything, you will need to (and should) use the subways to get most places as it's usually the quickest way to get from Point A to Point B.

While i agree that the Chelsea Savoy is not in the heart of the city, it is about a 10 minute walk to the Empire State Building (if that is iconic enough for you ;) )... and near multiple subway lines.

If no interest in the above i am seeing what appears to be the Belvedere Hotel for $195/nite for your dates (triple occupancy).

What is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this trip?
