I know that priceline works for a two person room but would you happen to have any experience on what are the chances of being able to book a room through them, and then later speak to the hotel about adding a rollaway cot for a small fee? Do most allow such things or are they strict with priceline /Hotwire sales to keep them only for two people?

Welcome to Betterbidding.

The issue with PRICELINE and bidding is that it only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. You can call the hotel to try and work something out before your stay, but it depends on the date/s of travel, hotel and maybe even who you talk to.

It also depends on the city. In someplace that is family-friendly like Orlando, probably no problem. In NYC, where small rooms are the norm and two beds is often a paid upgrade, the chances of two beds are slim (and you could very well get a room so small it wouldn't fit a rollaway.)

If you need help with your stay, please provide the details of the trip - date/s of travel, desired budget per night, desired star rating and which zones would be acceptable.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
