slruud
Received email from Hotwire yesterday about deals in Anaheim/Disneyland area. Had what appeared to be Hyatt Orange County for $74. Amenities include restaurant, pool, fitness center, high speed internet, golf, tennis, business center. Seems to be match based on hotel lists. Seems good through November 20 at least.I'm weighing my options...hopefully Priceline for <$40 for Hyatt or something with free parking.Hope this helps someone. Link to comment
slruud
Checked Hotwire again, and show rate of $53 for this property. Classified as customer favorite and best value. Guess it could also be Hilton. Link to comment
dave
Unlikely to score below $40 for 3* bids in DL especially for extended stays, probably due to DL 50th Anniversary. Link to comment
slruud
I've been seeing a number of Hyatt bids accepted <$40 on TOBB. It ususually happens when the web rate is $119. My trip isn't until next February, so I can low ball it once in a while. Just saw the Crowne Plaza go for $39 for December. In the long run, it might be better to just book one of the hotels fronting the entrance to the park and not have to deal with parking fees and shuttles. Still have plenty of time.Thamks for responding. Link to comment
uop1497
Hi, Slruud,I just wonder what is TOBB? Also, I have been follow this HW website for a while and see no listing at Crown Plaza at the price of $39/ night. What date you run the search on HW? is it at HW website or at another website? I am just curious Link to comment
slruud
Sorry about the confusion uop. I was referencing the previous comment I made about getting a Priceline bid for a 3* Disney area for under $40.TOBB...That Other Bidding (Bulletin) Board. Link to comment
dave
Slruud, seems like sub $40 is now possible, depending on dates.See THIS recent Hotwire win for Dec at Crowne Plaza. Should be able to do better on PL.Have to agree with the shuttles and parking bit. With parking it's $10 a day and with the shuttles it's usually not that frequent - so doesn't work out well.
