jmannycs Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 Hello there, I'm looking to travel to Vegas between 5/21/15 and 5/25/15. Hot.wire shows me, what seems to be 2 pretty good deals. The first 5* is listed for $144 and the full amenities description is as follows: $144 - North Strip Resort Free parking, Free Internet, Spa services, Resort, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Kitchenette However, the second hotel is not displayed in the results of the Bidding.Helper tool. Hotwire lists it as follows: $177 - North Strip resort Free parking Free Internet Resort Suite Casino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center From reading other posts. It looks like the 1st one could be Trump and the 2nd Palazzo? It'd be great if someone could shed some light on it. Thanks! Manny
thereuare Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) Best guess for the first property would be The Trump. For the 2nd property, there are likely more amenities then what you have posted above. For future searches/bookings you can do the following to ensure you're seeing the complete list: 1) use the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com and click the green 'See All Amenities' button OR 2) search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...click the offeron the next page click the BOOK NOW linkin the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesUsing the method(s) above, what is the full amenity set for the 2nd property? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
jmannycs Posted May 13, 2015 Author Report Posted May 13, 2015 Thanks! Used the (2) method to find the full list for the second hotel one. Here it is: Free parking Free Internet Resort Suite Casino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Golf nearby Tennis nearby Spa services Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll-in shower
jmannycs Posted May 13, 2015 Author Report Posted May 13, 2015 I'm looking for a Vegas hotel. There is only one 4 1/2* hotel under PRICELINE EXPRESS in the South Strip area. Furthermore, Bidding.Helper also displays only one 4 1/2* for the same area. Does that mean that if I place a bid on Las Vegas South Strip 4 1/2* hotels, I would be virtually be bidding on this single hotel? That'd be great if so. This is the hotel I book so it would allow me to play with different bid amounts. Thanks! Manny
jmannycs Posted May 13, 2015 Author Report Posted May 13, 2015 Here is a list of the amenities:4.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS Strip South Indoor or Outdoor PoolPets AllowedCasinoRestaurantFitness CenterFree ParkingBusiness Center Could this be Caesar's? Thanks!
AaronJB Posted May 14, 2015 Report Posted May 14, 2015 Please keep all posts for this stay within this thread - thanks. A few thoughts: 1. There are multiple 4.5*'s in the South Strip zone. If you bid, you have to be willing to accept any hotel at that star rating in that zone. The hotel that is showing on the Express Deals side is NOT necessarily the hotel you may win on the bidding side. 2. The North Strip 5* for $177 would be a likely match for the Palazzo. 3. The 4.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but I'd guess a new amenity set for Caesar's. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions.
