mats Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I checked Betterbidding before bidding and saw that someone got Sofitel for $77 so I figured I try that too. Accepted on first try. Thanks pnb for posting your succesful bid! It is low season now otherwise it would have cost much more. I bought two rooms:Your Offer Price: $77.00Number of Rooms: 2Number of Nights: 1Subtotal: $154.00Taxes & Service Fees:$46.16Total Charges: $200.16According to their site the lowest price for that night is $253 per room, promotion deal, no breakfast included. We are bringing our 1 year old son, and the other couple their two kids - 4 and 7 years old. Checked with the hotel before bidding, no problem, no extra charge. Only tell them before arrival (we already e-mailed them) and they arrange a room that will extra bed or bedable sofa. It is only the 7 year old that need an own bed. Also checked if children would be an issue with Marriot. No problem there either. Hope this info is helpful to someone. Thanks!
