Jasmine
Residence Inn Manhattan BeachYour Offer Price: $38.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $76.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $18.55 Total Charges: $94.55 I was planning on staying in Orange County originally because I thought it would be cheaper but I was scared off by the additional parking charges most hotels in that area charge. Just discovered this place by reading through posts here and it sounds perfect. Given that there are no free rebid zones (that I could see), I didn't want to low-ball so this was my first bid.As always, I went through savingsbarn.com first. :) Link to comment

Jasmine
Well I just got back from my week in Cali. After staying at this property at the start of my trip, I was impressed so I tried to get it again through PL for my last two nights to no avail. I don't remember specifically but I tried as high as $60 I believe and then when I had no other options, I just booked through Marriott's site paying $94 a night (AAA rate). Given its location, the free parking and the outstanding buffet breakfast I thought it was well worth it. Both the rooms I stayed in were very clean and spacious with full kitchens and even a fireplace. In the future, I will definitely try to win this property again. Link to comment
