My first bid of $50 was accepted at the Sheraton Minneapolis West in Minnetonka. Total with tax and fees was $62.61. I saw motels matching this one in zone and star level show up on Hot.wire and Priceline.Express for $54-$56, so perhaps I should've started in the $45 range. The cheapest rate I saw on their website for the same dates was $169 plus tax, so it still seems like a good deal. Used the Betterbidding PRICELINE link--thanks to all who keep this site going.
