Hotwire Hotel: 3* New York City (Madison Square Garden - Hell's Kitchen) Holiday Inn Express New York - Manhattan West Side

Yesterday and today I bid up through $135 for three nights in a 3* hotel in Madison Square Gardens - Convention Center, Times Square, Midtown West, Midtown East, and Central Park South (I bid up to $130 for a 3* in Hell's Kitchen). I realize $135 is probably still on the low end for NYC, but my friend and I have a budget to stick to, and with taxes, the three nights were already coming to ~$540 total (we also wanted to keep it limited to these neighborhoods, as we are attending a conference but also plan to sightsee).

 

I wound up taking a $129 Hot.wire deal for a 3* in Madison Square Gardens - Hell's Kitchen, which totaled (using the $20 MOM20 off code) $480 for the three nights. It turned out to be the Holiday Inn Express New York - Manhattan West Side, which I predicted based on the Better Bidding hotel lists, and which I am perfectly happy with. I think this is a pretty good deal -- I was surprised to find it cheaper than Price.line.

I accepted a Hot.wire deal of $129 a night for three nights (5/29, 5/30, 5/31) for a 3* hotel in Madison Square Garden - Hell's Kitchen. The price with taxes came to $500.10, to which I added the $20 off MOM20 promo code for a total of $480.10. The hotel turned out to be Holiday Inn Express New York - Manhattan West Side, which I predicted based on the Better Bidding hotel lists, and which I am perfectly happy with.

 

The amenities listed were free breakfast, free internet, fitness center, business center, and internet access. The hotel was described as being 85% recommended and held a 4 / 5 rating on Trip Advisor. On the billing page, there was also a little note stating that the hotel had earned a 4.5 / 5 guest rating for cleanliness and tidiness.
