thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the lower right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each of these listings, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Also, please confirm the HOTWIRE zones... 'White House-Downtown' and 'Georgetown' (as 'Foggy Bottom' is part of a different zone 'North Georgetown-Foggy Bottom') Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
jayjmuir
I was under the assumption that the Priceline thread should be under the Priceline board and the Hotwire thread should be under the Hotwire board. Even though this is the same stay, the listings are from the two different websites., which have their own boards. Updated amenities listed in red. thereuare
I was under the assumption that the Priceline thread should be under the Priceline board and the Hotwire thread should be under the Hotwire board. Even though this is the same stay, the listings are from the two different websites., which have their own boards.Having all posts for the same stay in the same thread makes it easier for us to see what has already been considered or tried (PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE). As well, with two threads what typically would happen is that the user would only update the thread where they won the hotel... leaving the 'other' thread unresolved. Then when future users would see the 'other' thread, they would wonder what was ultimately done for the trip since there was no resolution, when in fact there was a 'win' for the trip (but used the 'other' service) Therefore we keep all posts for the same stay in same thread and have developed our backend so that if/when you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the lower right corner of the board, and upon posting the entire thread will automatically be moved to the correct section of the board (if necessary). For the offers above: HOTWIRE: 5* White House-Downtwon --> my guess would be a new amenity set for the Sofitel Lafayette Square OR an upgrade of the Willard InterContinental Washington to the 5* level since the last time it was reported to the board 5* Georgetwon --> a new amenity set for the Park Hyatt would be my guess for this one PRICELINE EXPRESS 5* Georgetown - Foggy Bottom --> Park Hyatt Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
