The Hotel Boutique at Grand Central would be my best guess for this 3.5* MTE property.

HOWEVER, i'm seeing 4* hotel in the MTE zone for less than the price of this one... is there something in particular that you're looking for from this stay? (or do you need more than double occupancy?) What are your needs for this trip?

I have merged your two threads into one, please continue this thread for anything related to this trip (even if your dates change).

The Hotel Plaza Athenee has not yet been reported to the board thru HOTWIRE, but the amenities for this 5* offer are common and likely offered at most 5 star hotels in this zone, so The Surrey Hotel would be the best guess since it has already been seen with this exact amenity set, there is no way to exclude the Plaza Athenee (or any other 5* hotel for that matter) from the possibilities.

Are you willing to pay $300+ per nite for a hotel room for this trip? What exactly are your needs from a hotel for this stay?

I actually think NYC is one of the better PRICELINE / HOTWIRE locations cities given the typically high cost thru traditional booking channels.
