My college child will go with us to Paris this summer. It is pretty happier to have this hotel booked and hopefully we would not have any problem to stay.

I think you got a really good deal on an excellent hotel in Paris, BUT you might have booked the 2 person rate and not the 3 person rate your winning post  implies. If so, keep in mind that Parisian hotels and hotels in Europe often charge for extra people and beds. I might suggest emailing the hotel and asking for a room that will work for 3 so there are no surprises when you checkin

I did call hotwire and confirmed 3 adults.
