Priceline Hotel: bidding help 5-13/5

Hi,

my first post and my first priceline bidding 

Planning to visit Manhattan for 8 nights between 5-13/5 and i need single room.

Looking for nice and safe area within Manhattan  and 3.5 starts and up.

My budget is ~120-140$ per night (hope it is reasonable).

Can  you help me with a bidding strategy?
