Any suggestions on which hotel this is? I'm thinking Conrad or Westin, but would appreciate an expert opinion.

Easy recommendation. The Westin RN is a really nice property, within short walking distance to nightlife and tons of restaurants in River North. Try to talk your way into a river view room, the rooms facing the river (especially on high floors) have amazing views.

The price jumped from $156 to $189 overnight, so I'm going to wait and see.

I'm seeing on HOTWIRE a 4.5* in the Mag Mile N-WT area for $139 w/Boutique, Restaurant, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet. This would likely be the Ivy - great reviews, great location, small property so focused/boutique service.

 

You may see a slightly different price, but still a great option if it's also coming up when you search for this night.
