Rhodium
Great site ... This forum was very helpful in guiding my priceline bids for an upcoming vegas tripAfter reading about other users 5* Venetian $99 bids, i thought i would give it a shot. Thru the hotel's website, The Venetian's rates for my days of stay were as follows:1/7/06 - $1991/8/06 - $1691/9/06 - $169Initially selected 5* Strip for a 3 night stay 1/7/06 - 1/10/06.Initial Bid of $80 was REJECTED.Priceline counter offered with $151.Subsequent bids up to $111 utilizing the add zone rebid technique were also REJECTED.I then changed my dates to 5* Strip for a 2 night stay 1/8/06 - 1/10/06.Initial bid of $80 was REJECTED.Priceline counter offered with $133.Subsequent rebids including a $99 bid were REJECTED.Finally had a successful bid of $120.Congratulations, you got your price of $120 for a 5-star hotel roomThe VenetianCheck-In Date: Sunday, January 8, 2006Check-Out Date: Tuesday, January 10, 2006Las Vegas Strip Vicinity(Priceline Zone)3355 Las Vegas BoulevardYour Offer Price: $120.00Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 2Subtotal: $240.00Taxes & Service Fees: $34.06Total Charges: $274.06I was disappointed that I didn't get the often posted $99 rate others have successfully bid, but still think this a moderate deal for The Venetian . . . any thoughts or comments?
