I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

 

If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (such as accessible amenities) then what you have listed above?

 

Additionally, I'm very familiar with the area - do you need to stay in this area or are you looking for a less expensive alternative to downtown? If you are looking for a less expensive alternative to downtown and are driving in, I have some better alternatives I'd be happy to suggest.

Where you are going is not terribly far from the Metra Clybourn station or the Addison Blue Line. The Paulina brown line stop would be a bit closer but so not worth going downtown and then going back North on the Brown Line. If you stayed out by ORD, you would take the Blue Line in. The issue with Chicago is that once you get out of downtown, there really aren't many hotels at all until you get out to the outlying areas.

 

The 3* ORD South listing (I'm seeing it for $99 when searching for 2 adults/2 children) for 7/13-17 has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, unfortunately. A guess would be the Country Inn and Suites ORD South with a different amenity set, but that's really a guess and it may be something else not yet reported to the board.

 

When I search for these dates for 2 adults/2 children, I do see a 2.5* for $109 in Lincoln Park w/Fitness, Complimentary Breakfast, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Laundry, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible. 

-- This would be a possible match for the Days Inn Lincoln Park, which is in a terrific neighborhood North of the city. Some extra travel time to get there from downtown, but would be less of a trip to Clybourn - walk from here to the Diversey Brown Line stop, take that North to Paulina and then walk the remainder.

 

Usually I'd recommend the North suburbs over O'Hare, but since you're flying in, it just wouldn't make sense. If you were driving in, it would be something to consider.

 

This would also then put your group in a far better spot in terms of being convenient to downtown, plus there's so much in the Lincoln Park area.
