shutterlust.de Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Hi, Which ID could this be? I think my girlfriend dreams of staying in one of these... ;) Many thanks! Regards, Hans
AaronJB Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Welcome to Betterbidding. :) This amenity set has been seen with the Venetian previously, so that would be my guess. thereuare Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 In the 'regular' HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com i'm also seeing a 5* hotel for $165/nite (your price may differ a few dollars either side) with: Free Parking Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... my guess for this one would be the Wynn or Encore. Although with what appears to be the Palazzo offered for $105/nite, you'll have to decide if the above is worth an extra $50/nite (at this price i'd take the Palazzo, but of course you'll have to decide between budget and your girlfriend's dreams ;)) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. shutterlust.de Posted April 27, 2015 Author Report Posted April 27, 2015 Many thanks for your helpful advice and sorry for not coming back earlier! Busy days! As of today I found the following option through http://biddinghelper.com/ on the "Secret Hot Rate Hotels" tap from Hotwire: $11695% recommended4.5 out of 5.0 Free parkingFree InternetResortSuiteCasinoFitness centerPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business centerInternet accessGolf nearbyTennis nearbySpa servicesAccessible for visually impairedAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path of travelInAccessible bathroomAccessible parkingRoll-in shower Again the "Venetian"? BTW: There was a banner on the booking page for that thing, saying "Book soon! The last person got the The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino." Does that have any relevance? Any ideas? Thanks again for your help! (After booking I'll certainly report back what it is!)
thereuare Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 The "Last Person got ___" info is relative to the last hotel in the zone purchased as this star rating and is NOT in reference to the specific hotel currently offered. ... best guess for the one above would be the Palazzo. AaronJB Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 The $161 suite would likely be the Venetian. The $172 likely the Wynn. thereuare Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 The Venetian and the Wynn, respectively, would be my best guess for each of the above. shutterlust.de Posted April 28, 2015 Author Report Posted April 28, 2015 Finally booked the Wynn which was described as follows. Your guesses were right! Thank you very much for your help! I guess this isn't the lowest rate ever for this sort of room but I wanted to call it a day with all these searches. Is it possible that the same offer is getting increasingly expensive the more you visit it? I started with $172, then saw $174 and finally pulled the trigger at $176. I would also think that certain week days are better than others, like low traffic on Mondays means low prices. Or if you book last-minute (obviously no big risk with plenty of beds in Vegas). $176 (was $244) 95% recommended 4.5 out of 5.0 Free parking Casino Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Golf nearby Tennis nearby Spa services Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll-in shower
thereuare Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping and thank you for sharing your win with the board. Small price changes like you're seeing on common with HOTWIRE, as they often change the price slightly from one search to the next... it is not dependent upon the number of times you search or the day of the week (trust me, i've heard all the theories) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay... and good luck in Vegas. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
