Used Bidding.Helper.com as always to score this deal in Milan.

Based on PRICELINE EXPRESS 5* deal for $153, I decided to try my luck at NYOP on PRICELINE.

Started with all 3 Milan zones with 5* listings at $130.  Since there are upwards of 20 rebid zones for Milan 5*, worked my way up slowly to $146.  I bid $145 just prior, so I got the exact lowest winning bid.  No counteroffers.

Retail rates are $269 non-ref/$294 flexible, so a good deal of money saved there.

I stayed at this property just over a year ago on a Hot.wire hot rate which at the time was probably close to the NYOP rate you got.  I will say its a nice hotel, the location is easy to get around from, but i found the interior to be quite stuffy and pretentious.  If you're driving i would recommend using a paid parking garage nearby as it will save you money, and don't be surprised by the insane price for breakfast!!  Hopefully they will have completed the renovations as i was in one of the 'new' rooms which was quite spacious but again felt very stuffy and almost antique for lack of better terms.  When i wrote my review on Tripadvisor which was honest yet critical they replied by saying in effect i should be grateful given the low rate i paid so that should tell you what their general opinion is at this property.

Hope you have a great stay in Milan and you enjoy the hotel!!
