hotwire vs. hotel prepaid

As a dedicated user of your site, sometimes I'll see a hotwire price on a property and compare with the hotel's booking sites prepaid price for those dates.

After all that, my question is:  is there a current trend that hotel's prepaid non-refundable rates are coming in cheaper than hotwire's prepaid opaque rates?  So our best way to support your work is make these comparisons and use your link to the hotel direct if possible?

It is fairly rare that hotels are cheaper regular rate than via Hot.wire. However, discounts may be slight if it's a smaller market and/or something is going on on these date/s. Hot.wire and Price.line pricing is extremely date specific.

 

If you need help with a specific stay, please let us know the details of the trip - budget per night, desired star rating/zone, dates and any other details.

Thanks for your reply and the tip about MAPS and HOTELS.com.

 

For the Memorial Day weekend nights I wanted, that site had it nonrefundable for $129 vs $119 at Hyatt.

So for this case, I chose the direct booking.

 

Will always use your HOTWIRE links going forward.
