thereuare
do hotels mind this? or can i just check in and sneak everyone in?You've answered your own question: If you need to sneak everyone in, then obviously the hotels do mind. andromeda
good point.Let me start over..Desired room:Atlantic City, $803 Star, boardwalk preferableis this doable?i saw a 3 star for $150 on hotwire2 star for $143.. etc Link to comment
thereuare
You can try... but for a Saturday check-in i'd be doubtful of you finding success. The only thing you do have going for you is that it's winter, but i think the Borgota has been luring people down there even in the cold weather. Also note, the Atlantic City zone includes hotels that are not on the boardwalk. andromeda
i ended up taking the $150 on priceline.. and got the sheraton. Its weird the address they gave me on priceline says a different street then the sheraton website. but i assume they are teh same place. and reviews on this place? Link to comment
thereuare
Do you mean the 3* on Hotwire (as you posted above) or was this on Priceline's "Shop and Compare" where they show you the price and name of the hotel beforehand? If Hotwire, can you please add the amenities that were shown before your purchase... you can still view them by going to Hotwire and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.Thanks.EDIT: i have heard from the OP... a bid of $100 was made for 3* Atlantic City, but the user received a counter-offer for $150, which they accepted. biddingforhotel
It is a nice hotel but not at boardwalk, the parking is not at the hotel, need some walk. In general, 2.5* hotel and above, 3*, 4* ...etc. do not bother with you if you have more people. Well, the more you have the more you would have to pay for breakfast ...etc. but 2* and 1* would mind, their front desk normally trained to count how many people you have and charge extra $10 for each extra person. So, the rule of thumb is, if you have more people, bid a 2.5* or 3* hotel ... On the other hand PL agreement states each room to have upto 2 people ... In Atlantic City, if you have many people, just get a good Casino hotel would be sufficient, why? No one would stay in the hotel room anyway ... :) You will find your people all hide it somewhere in the Casino ... :) Link to comment
