Hotwire Hotel: 5* Budapest (Inner City - National Museum) Boscolo Residence

Hello,

 

Yesterday I have used Hotwire "Hot Rate" service for the first time.

I have booked hotel in Budapest. It was stated as following:

 

*****  (5* Hotel)

$197* $81 per night
 

Inner City - National Museum area hotel

Free Internet,  Pet friendly,  Business center  and more ...

I have passed all over all 5* Hotels in this area. Actually, there was a few (Corinthia, Boscolo Budapest, Boscolo Residence + Hilton Budapest City in other sites). I was pretty happy with all except Boscolo Residence. However, I have put my attention that Boscolo Residence does not have Business center while the hotel promoted above does have. Therefore, I assumed it is one of other hotels. After completing booking I have got Boscolo Residence :(

What can I do now? Can I ask for one of other hotels for the same price based on the fact description is inaccurate?

I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. Can you please add a reply to this thread with the amenities that are currently showing in the MY ACCOUNT link for this purchase... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.

You need to mail/phone HOTWIRE and let them know about this. They are very good to deal with when it comes to matter like this. I don't know what you referring to when you say "business center", some hotels just have a computer and a printer and that's the business center. But one expect more when it comes to a 5* hotel. What is it that you need that the hotel don't offer in terms of business center?

I think we understood your original point.

The issue lies in what what is the definition of a 'Business Center'... this could be as simple as a fax machine and/or a computer offered in the lobby by the hotel OR it could be defined as a separate room that is closed off from the rest of the lobby/hotel and has other services such as printing, faxing, etc.

Have you reached out to HOTWIRE questioning the inclusion of a 'business center' for this property and indicating that you don't believe they offer one?
