MPSimecek Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 I'm searching Hotwire for a hotel for ONE night, April 5th. Four two adults and two kids. Looking at this 3.5 star with 95% recommend. Any thoughts what that would be??
thereuare Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Please follow-up your previous Hotwire San Juan hotel thread with whatever you decided for that leg of your trip, then reply here with the amenities that HOTWIRE associated with the 3.5* above and we will have a look. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Thanks. MPSimecek Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 I was waiting because up until yesterday, I was still looking for those nights in case something opened. I explained in more detail on the follow up to that post. In the end, we didn't use Hotwire for the two nights prior to the cruise because we got a deal we couldn't pass up on Hotels..com but we will definitely be using Hot.wire for the tail end of the cruise, just for that one night. Sorry about that.

MPSimecek Posted April 26, 2015 Author Report Posted April 26, 2015 So...we booked hte 3.5 star as described here. HOWEVER, we waited until 5 days prior when we were on the ship. We ended up getting this 3.5 star for $106. It ended up to be the COURTYARD by MARRIOTT. It was FANTASTIC!! We actually stayed at the 5 star Vanderbilt on the front end of the cruise and were highly disappointed with that hotel. The Couryard was slightly less fancy but WAY more comfortable and appealing in all aspects. For $106, it was quite a bargain for our familiy of 4. I'd go back there in a heartbeat and stay right there!!
yellowdog Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Thank you for sharing your result with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
