Looking for 3* or better for a trip with my daughter. Would like to keep price under $150 before taxes.

I am not having much luck bidding and am aware this is a higher price time to go.

I saw a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a 4* CPS hotel  that lists amenities as Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Business Center and Free Internet. I have a 10% coupon code for any express deal. Would you advise I take this deal? Can you guess what hotel this might be?

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Best guess for this PRICELINE EXPRESS property would be a new amenity set for the Hudson Hotel. This property is centrally located, but has notoriously small rooms (even by NYC standards), so you would need to be OK with an extremely small room for the one above to be an option.

What zones and star rating have you already bid and up to what amount?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

EDIT TO ADD: what about this 4 star ESB hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) which is only showing a Pets Allowed amenity but is priced very well at $145/nite? Difficult to have too much confidence in any guess, but i think this one might be St. Giles - the Court.

Thank you for your response.

From reading the forum, I was afraid it might be the Hudson. I had used suggestions from one of your previous posts to bid/re-bid 3.5* a combination of  MTE, MTW, TS, MSG, ESB, CPS. My maximum bid was $141.

I ended up taking the Priceline Express deal for the Hudson. With the extra discount it was $149.40 per night plus taxes. I am not looking forward to the tiny room, but the location looks like it will suit our purposes better than the St. Giles. I will try to focus on the good location.

I did use the PRICELINE EXPRESS links from this page to make the purchase.

Do you know anything about a "resort fee" at the Hudson? Will I be expected to pay this despite having a receipt saying I am prepaid in full?

Congratulations on your success!

Glad to see it was the hotel guessed and even though the rooms are small, you're willing to deal with it at this price.

As far as i know the Hudson does not charge a resort fee.

Thank you for using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase and sharing your win, helping us update the Priceline Hotel List with the new amenity set for this property.

Enjoy your stay and let us know if we can help answer any question for your NYC visit (as i'm local to the area)
