The hotel gets much better reviews since Wyndham took it over from the Ramada 3-4 years ago, but the reviews are still a bit mixed, which i mostly attribute it to be a historic property, which is not always to everyone's tastes, as i think 'modern and trendy' is more in vogue these days, and there are some idiosyncrasies that come with older/historic properties. With the above noted, at $114/nite it's a good price and the location is very good, as it is located diagonally across from Penn Station so plenty of subway lines nearby to take you wherever you need to go in the city.
