thereuare Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Based upon current rates i don't think your limit is enough for a 5* for any part of this stay.Given this is a Thursday-Tuesday stay... how many times are you willing to switch hotels? march24 Posted January 2, 2006 Author Report Posted January 2, 2006 Don't mind switching twice if you think that will get the best deal.
thereuare Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Just to confirm, that means 3 different hotels, correct? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
march24 Posted January 2, 2006 Author Report Posted January 2, 2006 3 different hotels will be fine with us. Thanks
thereuare Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 The first nite of this stay won't be a problem:Treasure Island for $99Luxor for $100/niteHowever, the weekend nites, as well as the Sunday nite, are going to be much more difficult. I don't see anything at the 4* level on the strip that is near your maximum bid for those nites. I think you'll need to seriously consider 1) raising your bid, 2) lower your star rating, or 3) consider something off-strip.Is this a trip you'll be taking even if unsuccessful at your maximum bid? march24 Posted January 3, 2006 Author Report Posted January 3, 2006 Time booked off from work so will be coming to LV on those dates.I am willing to raise the maximum per night to $170.If this is not enough my next choice would be to go off strip.
thereuare Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Here's what i got:3/9-3/12:Monte Carlo for $197/nite (average)3/12-3/14IMPERIAL PALACE for $125/nite (average)The above brings you into your $170/nite maximum. However, admittedly the IP is not a 4* hotel, but the Sunday nite makes this extremely tough. If you're not happy with the Imperial Palace, you could:3/12-3/13(not sure... stay off strip this one nite)3/13-3/14Luxor for $111/niteMonte Carlo for $117/niteAladdin for $123/niteIf the above makes you re-think changing hotels, the Monte Carlo can be had for your complete stay for $189/nite average, just a little over your current budget.Let us know your thoughts on the above and we'll then figure out the next best step. march24 Posted January 4, 2006 Author Report Posted January 4, 2006 Thanks for the options, I have gone for 5 nights at the Aladdin, average of $161 a night. Booking is on request and hopefully know tomorrow if I'm successful.
