Not really sure about the facilities shown, but I guess they were:

 

Pets Allowed

Business Center

Restaurant

 

Very disapointed with this Hotel since it is far away from what I was expecting as a 5* hotel. Most of the reviews state that it really does NOT look like a 5* hotel, especially due to its old-fashioned furniture.

 

I was 99% sure I was going to get the Renaissance Le Parc Trocadero. Completely wrong shot.

 

 

I have two more nights to spend in Paris (apr-01 to apr-03). Any tips to avoid this sort of unpleasing surprises?

While not the hotel nor location you were expecting, this does appear to be a very good rate for these dates, so hopefully you will find it to be a good value and can make it work for your needs these two nites.

In the future feel free to ask the board for help before your purchase as a second set of eyes may be able to suggest an outcome you didn't previously consider OR determine a reason why it may not be the hotel you think.
