We are wanting to explore the city but hoping to stay as close as possible to old San Juan. On the bidding helper website, it shows two priceline express deals.. Old San Juan - Conado - 4 stars rated 7/10 $113 Indoor or Outdoor PoolCasinoRestaurantFitness CenterFree InternetBusiness Center and Old San Juan - Conado - 3.5 stars rated 8/10 $122 Indoor or Outdoor PoolFitness CenterFree InternetBusiness Center Do you know which hotels these are? Best guess for the 4* would be the Sheraton Puerto Rico Convention Center Hotel and Casino... for the 3.5* the Doubletree by Hilton San Juan would be my best guess. By bidding on PRICELINE you can usually do a little better than the PRICELINE EXPRESS rates, but you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose, as there is no ability to know the amenities offered beforehand (if you're looking for any specific amenities for this trip) OR to take a guess as to the hotel you may receive. If location is the primary objective you can also search our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com which will show you hotels near almost any address in the world and makes it easy to see how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating OR to stay closer/further from your ideal location. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: Free Internet Pet Friendly Casino Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is the full list you're seeing, a slightly new amenity set for the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino would be my best guess for this one as well. sweet_holms Posted March 10, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2015 Hi So i did go through link on this site and booked the Sheraton Puerto Rico and Casino through Hot.wire as it was a tiny bit cheaper than the express deal on Price.line. We are happy with this hotel, mainly because we hear the rooftop infinity pool and bar are pretty nice. Thanks for all of your help! Link to comment
