Hotwire Hotel: Help w/ 4.5* Mexico All-Inclusive

Hello,

 

It's my first time using Better Bidding.  

 

I'm looking to travel for 4-6 nights between April 4-April 13, 2015 (schedule is flexible).  Looking for a 4.5* all-inclusive option in the greater CUN area (downtown Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos are all fine).  If possible, I would like to stay under $200/night for 2 people, 1 room.  

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

What is the determining factor as to the actual dates of your trip? Have you already checked airfare to see if equal pricing regardless of which dates you choose?

On PRICELINE bidding i don't see any zones that guarantee an all-inclusive property at 4* or above (closest is the Cancun North Beach zone that offers bidding on a 3.5* All-Inclusive property) so you will likely be restricted to PRICELINE EXPRESS and/or HOTWIRE if you are sticking with your 4* (or is it 4.5*) or higher requirements and an all-inclusive property.

We'll be flying on points, so the hotel availability is what will determine our exact dates.  In other words, we are looking for the best hotel that we can get within that date range.  I'd love to get something at 4.5*, but am not completely opposed to 4* if it has great ratings.  

 

I've been looking at both Priceline Express and Hotwire, and it seems that Hotwire provides a better selection in our price range.  

 

I'll be keeping an eye on the Better Bidding boards, but in looking at April 7-12 or April 8-13, it seems like there are only really 3 hotels available in our price range:

 

4.5* at $194/night in the South Hotel Zone Area (80% recommended):
