thereuare Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the board asking that you do the same ;) ) If you re-check the amenities associated with this property, do you also see a POOL listing? (in addition to the Indoor Pool already listed)? If so, i'm not certain, but a new amenity set for the Trump International Hotel and Tower New York would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the lower right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. The Sofitel, upgraded to the 5* level, would be my best guess for this one. tashadowler Posted March 26, 2015 Author Report Posted March 26, 2015 Thank you for your help! We are very excited that we are staying at the Sofitel as hoped. One question I have is how do I know what room type we are in? Because the original price of $822 was crossed off we assumed we would be in a higher price room category. On my hotwire confirmation, it states it is a hotwire hot rate room. Any idea what this means?TIA!
yellowdog Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Thank you for sharing your result with the board. Note that the crossed out rate is an average price of hotels of this star rating in the zone for your dates, NOT necessarily the rate of the hotel currently being offered. You need to mail/phone the hotel and ask about the room. Enjoy your stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Yellowdog.
