discostu9
New here first time posting... I need help figuring this one out....Hotwire $60 per night, 3.5* and 85% recommended. This is not listed having boutique hotel as an amenity and another 3.5 start which helped rule out the one boutique hotel on the list. Free breakfastFree InternetBusiness centerInternet accessAccessible for visually impairedAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomAccessible parkingRoll-in shower Thanks for your help and let me know if I didn't list correctly? P.S. I also used biddinghelper.com and this hotel didn't even appear on either hotwire tab on that site. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! I'm not currently seeing this one offered any of my searches, but if you are, my guess would be an upgrade of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel Cass. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
discostu9
I just did the search again on BiddingHelper.com and it did come up on the hotwire tab but not the hotwire easy view tab. I am not sure if that helps or not. I would like to book this just not sure of the confidence level on this one. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm unable to get the 'Free Breakfast' property to appear on my search (and i've tried different adult/children combinations as well as looking at each nite individually) so unfortunately i'm not able to dig any deeper into this one. AaronJB
I'd also guess an upgraded Cass. I'm also seeing a 3.5* in the Mag Mile N-WT area for $55 w/Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly. That would be a possible match for the Indigo - I think that's a nicer hotel, but not as central a location (although it's a very nice neighborhood and the subway is around the corner) and no breakfast (although a number of breakfast options right nearby.) Let me know if you have any city questions. discostu9
03/12/2015 - 03/15/2015 Hotwire easy view on bidding helper comes up as $60 per night 3.5 stars amenities.... FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower I appreciated the help yesterday. I decided to go with something in the suburbs but close to downtown as I don't really need to spend much time downtown. I am really hoping to book this one but would like an idea of what it is and can't figure it out since none on the list mention free parking. Thanks and I will book through your link from now on. I use Hotwire 6 to 12 times per year and this site is very helpful. Link to comment
AaronJB
For the ORD listing, I'd guess the Holiday Inn may have been upgraded to 3.5*. Are you flying in or driving in? I often suggest the North Suburbs - easy access (not walkable but usually a quick drive) to a Metra station, free parking, more restaurants/shopping nearby and the Metra ride in is nicer/more comfortable than the CTA ride in from the airport. When I search for 3/12-15, I'm seeing two 4*'s in the Northbrook zone: $53 Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Golf, Free Parking, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly.--This would be a possible match for the Renaissance North Shore. $58 Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Golf, Free Parking, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Pet Friendly--Likely Sheraton Northbrook You may see slightly different rates than I do. If you are flying in, staying by ORD makes sense. If you are driving, the Northbrook area is very nice. discostu9
When I do go in to the city I will be driving so public transport doesn't really matter to me. Link to comment
AaronJB
If you stay out by ORD, you can go downtown on the expressway. If you stay in the 'burbs, you can either choose from the expressway or a couple of other options, including a longer/scenic drive along the lake.
