If so, any comments on quality/value of this offer? Seems pretty good on the surface considering the free internet/breakfast. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. I'd guess it may be an upgraded Park South, moved to 3.5* since it was last reported to the board at 3*. Would this possibility be of interest? If not, what would be your desired budget per night for this stay? I see a few other options nearby, including what may be the New York Palace for $155 (you may see a slightly different price.) MJ777 Posted March 3, 2015 Author Report Posted March 3, 2015 Thanks! The Park South could be of interest - I see they're currently renovating the hotel. Any word on whether the reno's would be complete by July or if this deal would be for an un-renovated room? That would likely be the deciding factor. Budget wise I would be open to adding $20-25 extra/night if needed. Cheers
thereuare Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 I don't know anything about the renovations progress at this property, but if you are willing to spend a bit more, there are some 4* properties offered for $150 or less (none that are over the top in my option), however, i would consider THIS (confirm your dates on the landing page) 3.5* MSG property for $153/nite. It has a 9.0 or better user review rating from previous PRICELINE guests, and the following amenities: Restaurant, Free Internet, Business Center. My guess for this one would be the Distrikt Hotel New York City (first guess) or the Element (second guess)... but even if this guess is wrong, you have a good 'safety net' with the 9.0+ user review rating. ;) If either of my guesses are correct, both of these hotels get excellent reviews. MJ777 Posted March 4, 2015 Author Report Posted March 4, 2015 Right on, thanks for the suggestion and information. I have an email into Park South about their renovations if those are still happening the 3.5* you've pointed out looks great too. I'll report back if/when I book - through this site of course :)
