I search Hot Rates Hotels on Hotwire as followings:

check in: Apr25, check out: 26,  1 Room

2 Adults+ 2 Children

Madison Square - Hell's Kitchen Area

 

I got 4 results, and one of them is now shown 45% off:

 

3.5 star

$210/night ($379/night)

Amenities:free internet, smok-free room,fitness center,restaurant, business center, golf-nearby

Accessibility:accessible for visually impaired, accessible fir hearing impaired

As my search condition is 2 adults and 2 children, would HOTWIRE give a room with double beds? or whatever only a standard room? I prefer a hotel near New York Penn Station. 

 

Will this be Wyndham New York Hotel? a double beds room is almost $479 on HOTWIRE, but $407 on booking.com.

I also guess other 2 3.5* hotels: Four points by Sheraton Midtown Times Square ( traditional room with two double beds - $370) and Staybridge Suites - Times Square Manhattan (Studio Suite, two double beds - $387), these two hotels are named with Times Square but actually located in Madison Square Area.

Note that HOTWIRE guarantees accommodations for everyone you include in your search. When searching for quad occupancy this usually means two beds in the room, but the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc. (and in NYC this is a likely possibility)

yes, I did what you said, and got the same amenities you typed above.

If it's the Wyndham New York Hotel, what type of room I would be offered? Standard Room with Two Beds?

There is no guarantee on room type. Two bed is most likely, but you could also get one + rollaway or some other combination. In a city like Orlando, two beds would likely be no issue. Unfortunately, with NYC rooms are often quite small and two beds often go for a premium. If you enter in four people, you should get some form of bedding for the entire party. If you run into an issue once you get to the hotel with bedding, you can call Hot.wire.

I'm so glad that it turns out the hotel is the Belvedere, haha :D

It's a great save for me, from 355 to 206 before tax.

hope will get a double beds room
