Jackthedog
I am looking at a Priceline Express deal, 4* Old San Juan-Condado. 8+ rating. $122 per night. Casino. Resort fee is 19.98%. May 15 to 19. The resort fee is identical to the La Concha, so I'm thinking that's it. I would like to avoid the Sheraton, which is 7.9 rating, but I don't know how strict they are with that. The Marriott also seems nice. That would be a great deal at La Concha, which is $200 everywhere else I see. Any other thoughts on La Concha or the area. Will be my first visit to PR. Who will help an old dog out? Link to comment

Jackthedog
That was quick. Guaranteed amenities: Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Casino, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Free WiFI Link to comment
thereuare
While the La Concha would be a possibility, i think the San Juan Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino would be the better guess for this one. However, given the current 8.0 user review rating for this property, and the current 7.9 user review rating of the Sheraton Convention Center, you should be able to safely exclude this from the possibilities. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Jackthedog
One last question, if I can. What are the odds this is the Condado Plaza Hilton? I would be great with either the Marriott or La Concha. Thank you. Link to comment
thereuare
The amenities that PRICELINE EXPRESS uses are very vague/common and often can be applicable to multiple hotels in the zone, as is the case here... i see no way to exclude the Condado Hilton from the possibilities, but it think the Marriott is a better guess in this example. This offer comes to about $165 cheaper than if you you booked the Marriott... and $350 cheaper than a regular rate purchase if this turns out to be the La Concha or the Condado Hilton; so you have to decide if the savings are worth the potential risk of receiving a property other than the one you hope/think. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
Thank you for closing this thread with your decision (although not really sure what hotel you ultimately decided upon). It would be appreciated if you booked your regular rate purchases thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com, or we also could have supplied you with our own link to bookit.com. Enjoy your stay.
