9//Hello all! I am spending 3 nights in Fort Lauderdale pre-cruise 09/10/2015 - 09/13/2015. I was hoping for some help identifying two places in Hollywood Beach.

First is $118/night, 80% rated and amenities are as follows:

Resort, Pool, Golf Nearby, Near Beach, Restaurant, Smoke Free, Business Center, Fitness Center, Internet.

I'm pretty sure that this is the Crowne Plaza as it's Expedia Rate is $129 currently.

I don't want to stay at the Crowne Plaza, so I intend to try for this one:

Second is $179/night, 95% rated and amenities are as follows:

Resort, Restaurant, Near Beach, Business Center, Fitness Center, Internet Access, Pools, Spa Services

I believe this one to be Diplomat, as its currently $209 on Expedia. I'm not really sure how good of a "deal" these are, but since the start of our honeymoon, we are okay with the pricing. If anyone could help positively identify, that would be great! And if I am waaaay overpaying, let me know too :)

Welcome to BetterBidding! (and congratulations on your upcoming nuptials  )

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to these listings, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for each:

FIRST:

Resort

Near Beach

Smoke Free

Fitness

Pool

Restaurant

Business

Hi-Speed Internet

Golf

Blind Accessible

Deaf Accessible

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Bathroom Accessible

Handicapped Parking

Roll-in Shower

... i'd agree the Crowne Plaza is likely here

SECOND:

Resort

Near Beach

Fitness

Pool

Restaurant

Business

Hi-Speed Internet

Spa

Deaf Accessible

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Wheelchair Accessible

Bathroom Accessible

Handicapped Parking

Roll-in Shower

... if this is what you're seeing, the Diplomat would be my best guess for this one.

Not sure what you're needs are for this trip, but searching our sister site RefundableRates.com i'm seeing (check all dates on the landing page) the Sonesta for $179/nite, Hilton for $199/nite, Lago Mar for $195, and a few others that may be of interest (you can filter the results to only show you 4* and above rated hotels)... you could book any of these to protect yourself from rates rising from here, while still giving you the option to cancel should a better deal come along with PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board for your purchases, or if you decide to book a regular rate hotel please use RefundableRates.com, MAPS and HOTELS.com, or our link to Expedia if you go that route.

Let us know whatever you decide to do OR how we can be of further help.

Please close this thread with whatever you decide to do for this trip (even if not PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, you cancel the trip and choose a different destination, etc)

Did you book one of the above as a back-up?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
