Hotwire Hotel: Help IDing a 4.5* Downtown - Millennium Park - Grant Park area Hotel

Hi there,

I'm looking for help IDing a 4.5* Downtown - Millennium Park - Grant Park area Hotel for $181/night for a 4 night stay ( March 3-8th).Searching for 3 people so I am looking for a room with two beds. Queens would be preferred but I am seeing many rooms seem to be doubles. 

FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center,  Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel

 

There is also a 4* Magnificent Mile Area - River North area hotel for $185.

Full amenities: Free internet, boutique hotel, smoke free rooms, fitness centre, restaurant(s), spa services.

Please provide a follow-up for your prior Fort Lauderdale thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look at the above post.)

 

Also, you mentioned above a 4 night  stay - just to confirm, is your check-out date the 7th or 8th?

 

Additionally - while it will depend on the check-out date - I do see some alternate ideas (including a 2 queen bed idea) for the 3rd-8th period.

First, an alternate idea on Expedia:
 

On Expedia there is a sale for the Monaco. This is a really nice Kimpton property in a very central location. Gets great reviews, not far from both Michigan Ave and River North. It's $179 on sale on Expedia, but there is a $20 extra person fee for the third person. HOWEVER, a rare instance in the city of two queens and you would be indicating two queens rather than have to call and negotiate.

Searching for 3 adults. You may see a slightly different price than I do. Additionally, if you indicate 3 people, that does not guarantee two beds. Two beds is probably more likely, but it may be 1 + rollaway or 1+ sofabed.

You mentioned seeing these listings for over $180 - are you still seeing these prices? When I searched just now for 3/4-8, I'm seeing the prices above.

-- This would likely be the Kinzie, which would be a great choice - free breakfast, great location and the rooms they have with two beds are queens, according to expedia. 

 

3* Mag Mile-RN $133 Suite, Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Complimentary Breakfast, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Kitchenette, Laundry, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower.

--- Not yet ID'd/reported to the board, but a great deal for a well-reviewed (4.5/5 tripadvisor rating showing on the detail page for the listing) suite with free breakfast.

Thank you so much for that great information. I just realized the prices I posted were in Canadian - once I switched to USA currency I found the same prices as you. Wish our dollar was better right now!
