jlspain Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Hello- First time using betterbidding. This site really looks outstanding! I'm looking for a 3 night stay June 11-14 in Las Vegas. I prefer the north strip. I'd really like the Venetian or Wynn if possible (never been to Trump). Anyway, I looked at the Priceline Express deal and it has a 5* on the North Strip at $96. This is right in my price range after taxes, hotel fees, etc. Looking to spend maximum $450 for the hotel. Is this a good deal? What Hotel would you guess this is? Should I try bidding since it's so far out? If so, what should I start at? Thank you so much for the help!!
thereuare Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! (and thanks for the compliments on the site :) ) For help with this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer please include the full list of amenities that are associated with it. Also, have you been to Vegas before, as the Trump, while a very nice property, is not really located directly on the Strip, which is one of the issues that some choose to avoid this property (the other is that it doesn't have a casino) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. jlspain Posted February 13, 2015 Author Report Posted February 13, 2015 Amenities include Pool, Pets allowed, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Free internet and Business Center. I have been to Vegas a couple of times, never the Trump Casino.
thereuare Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 ... never the Trump Casino.... as per above, the Trump does not have a casino. My guess for the offer above would be the Trump. As you've been to Vegas before it comes down to whether you want and hotel with a casino and/or if you need to be directly on the strip or not (it's about an 8-10 minute walk to the Trump, about 10-15 to Treasure Island if you cut thru the Fashion Show Mall)... as well, the Trump offers scheduled shuttle service to the strip. You're likely looking at about the same price for a 4* casino hotel on the strip... or about $140 for a 5* hotel on the strip.
