seige6
So I will be staying at GVR Jan 1 - 4 for FREE as a promotion during a slot tourney. I love that place BTW. As long as you gamble there, they love having you there cheap and FREE at times.Anyways, the flight I booked was cheaper to come in on NYE, DEC 31. I get in at like 10 PM and would like a place to lie my head for relatively cheap either strip, downtown or just off the strip after a night of gambling or partying.Or I can just tough it out and stay up all night gambling and partying if need be.But are there hotels I can get one single room at a low cost like $100 for NYE that are not a dump?Or do I have to bump it to $200 for this night?GVR as most places do, have a Friday required stay as well. Those were not cheap. Just looking for help.I'm a first timer on both this site and PL as far as hotel bidding goes. I know it's short notice. Can anyone help? Also, if I have to do the all nighter, does anyone know if I could dump my bags at a concierrge(sp?) at a hotel I am not staying at for the night or are there lockers at McCarren OUTSIDE security that I can dump my bags in for the night and come back and get on my way to GVR on Sunday? Thanks in advance!!!!!! thereuare
You can book the La Quinta Airport for $139/nite... how does that work for your needs? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
lowballer
Vegas on NYE? If it were me I'd stay up all night. Will you have a car? Can you stash your stuff in the car for the night, parking it in a (free or cheap) casino garage somewhere? If you don't have a car but still need a place to put your things, can you do a one-day car rental for this purpose? Heck, you might even be able to sleep in the car for a couple hours, and you can't drive a hotel room up and down the Strip. Link to comment
bbbb
The bell staff at most hotels will hold your bags for nothing but a tip. I would not count on a early check-in on the 1st as most people will be asking for a late check out. Link to comment
seige6
Thanks for all the help any more would be welcomed. I figured the tipping the bell hop would work and NO car but a cheapo rental might work and the LA QUINTA for a $139 is a steal compared to most! Thanks again all. Link to comment
