wenderson Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 Staying one night (6/9) in NYC after a cruise. First time in NYC and would like to be close to Times Square or Central Park. Would like at least 4 star. Any recommendations? Would like to stay under $400 if possible!
AaronJB Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)With your desired budget, you could certainly get a 4* (I see what appears to be the Millennium Broadway or Crowne Plaza TS for $278), but you could also get a 5* (I see what appears to be the Trump Central Park for $367.) I'm also seeing what appears to be the Park Central for $299 and the Lexington for $272. Would any of these be of interest? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
wenderson Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Posted February 5, 2015 Any of those would be great. How do I do it? Bid? This is my first time to ever use either priceline or hotwire! Sorry!!
AaronJB Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 When I search on Hot.wire, I'm seeing: You may see slightly different prices: 5* Midtown Central: Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Spa, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Handicapped Parking $371. --Likely Trump International Hotel and Tower 4* Midtown Central Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry $300.-- Likely Park Central 4* Midtown Central Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower $315 --- Likely Warwick 4* TS Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly $280. --- Either Millennium Broadway or Crowne Plaza TS. 4* MTE Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower $275.-- Likely Lexington Bidding on Price.line is an entirely different process; while cheaper, it requires a greater degree of flexibility as you have to be willing to stay at any hotel in the zone chosen at the star rating picked. thereuare Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Svenska73, We have many board users who return daily to see what deals are being won, but there are others who after winning a hotel may not return to the board until they need a hotel for another trip, so the OP may not see your post in a timely manner and reply. If you need help with an upcoming stay please start a NEW TOPIC and we will assist you there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
