rldifrancesco
Looking to stay in a 4 star or higher in SF on May 1-3, in any of the following neighborhoods: USE, USW, FD, MS, FW Wondering if you could give me any indication on what price point is worth jumping on. I've been watching over the last month and the low price has dropped from over $200 to $134 (4* FD)-$175 (4* USE/USW), and I'm wondering if there's any chance it will continue to drop. AaronJB
There is no way to guarantee as to which way rates will go, as there are a lot of factors at play. I will say that, with things as they are right now, San Francisco is - in my opinion - one of the cities where demand has picked up most since 2008. $130ish for early May is an appealing price. Might rates drop a little further? Possibly, but I'd say at around $125-130 for a 4* in San Fran in May there is more potential to the upside for rates than the downside. thereuare
Please also include the room rate per nite in your requests as it makes it easier for us to location the same hotel among the offers when replicating your search. For this offer I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates (at $135/nite.. your price may differ by a few dollars): Pet Friendly Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is what you're seeing my guess for this one would be the Hilton Financial District. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
